Sun Solaris Engineer (Bangalore, India)
Job Description Job Location - Bangalore (India), Malaysia and Singapore Provide pre-sales support to complement sales team in the overall sales cycle Manage client implementations and installation Perform 1st level diagnostics and problem resolution through phone Escalate to next level of support by performing preventive/remedial maintenance and resolving problems regarding SUN servers (hardware and OS) at customer locations Perform minimal after office hours standby
Prerequisites Ideal candidates should have 2-3 years of experience with most of the following: Hands-on experience with Sun servers and Solaris operating system, both installations and maintenance Hands-on experience with performance management and capacity sizing Hands-on system administration experience in Solaris environments and related software technology Experience in assessing client requirements and architecting systems solutions Technology certifications desired
